We recently met the lovely Julia Lungin from a new company called Chocoveda. Julia, a practitioner of the ancient healing system, Ayurveda, created the most gorgeously delicious truffles while incorporating the beauty of the seven sacred chakra's.

Her truffles are of the finest dark chocolate, all natural, preservative free, organic & vegan, and best of all, are infused with exotic flavors to coincide with beautiful mantras.

Here's the story....In 1995, Mama Kia visited Cusco, Peru and was moved by the plight of abandoned and orphaned children. She spent several months feeding them in parks but realized that they needed much more than nutrition, they needed education, medical treatment, the feeling of family and most of all…love. Three years later, after the death of her grandson Chandler Sky Patton, Kia along with her daughter Marie Patton and son-in-law Allen created the Chandler Sky Foundation – “After Chandler’s passing we had so much love to give that we decided to put it into other children who were not fortunate enough to have parents to love them.”

Mama Kia has been recently diagnosed with bone cancer, and this fundraiser is to raise awareness and support for Mama Kia's medical expenses, her 31 Adopted Children and 2 Soup-Kitchens....

Sabine & Jeff...

Sabine & Jeff went all out to make their intimate wedding for 30 guests feel like extravagance and decadence at it's finest. A lovely ceremony at their local church was followed by an 8 course tasting menu by chef Christophe Eme at their favorite restaurant Ortolan, in West Hollywood. Florals were lush and overflowing with creamy white garden roses and dutch hydrangea. Everywhere you looked, romance was in the air, from the crystal chandeliers, to the candelabras with tall candle lit tapers, to individual butterflies adorning each champagne flute. Taryn Leach coordinated every last detail flawlessly, and Jennifer Roper Photography captured the love and warmth of the evening with these gorgeous shots (Thanks Jennifer for sharing these with us!). Garden Wedding Soiree (part II)

Picking up from where we left off with Don and Julie's enchanted garden wedding this past August, the lovley and talented Maria Gibbs Photography provided us with these gorgeous shots, and we couldnt wait to share them with you!

We keep stumbling upon the most amazing earth friendly companies who are producing creative and beautiful products that are totally recycled, biodegradable, plantable, growable and non-impactful to this beautiful Pachamama ("mother earth"). What bride wouldn't want to know that because of her wedding, 100+ trees were planted, gardens will radiate with wildflowers, and no landfills will be fuller because of them? Tree Beginnings is one of these companies. Imagine every place setting with a baby blue spruce or giant sequoia seedling delicately tucked into each napkin. Or a beautiful recycled box filled with daffodil and tulip bulbs, so cute!
